Venue Information

DroidBuilders are volunteers. They are operating a very specialized piece of equipment for the enjoyment of fans at your event. They receive no compensation to do so. Each droid requires at least one operator and a handler for an event. Droids can weigh several hundred pounds, so considerations about your event venue are important. By Submitting the request you acknowledge the following terms and conditions of your request:

(a) I acknowledge that I am have authority to represent my organization and that I am at least 18 years of age.

(b) I acknowledge that I understand submitting a request does not guarantee the ability of Droid Characters to attend my request.

(c) I acknowledge that Star Wars, its characters, costumes, and all associated items are the intellectual property of Lucasfilm. © & ™ Lucasfilm Ltd. and that all rights are reserved and that I will not without express written permission of LucasFilm Ltd. use the appearance for any commercial purposes.

(d) I understand that DroidBuilders is not sponsored, owned, or operated by Lucasfilm Ltd. and that DroidBuilders is an independent, not-for-Profit organization comprised of volunteers who own and operate their own replica Star Wars Character Droids under authorization from Lucasfilm Ltd.

(e) That DroidBuilders is a not-for-profit organization and that we do not charge any fee for appearances, though we kindly request if you are able to, you make a charitable donation in our name (DroidBuilders, LLC) in support of the charities we support.

(f) I understand that DroidBuilders, it's members, volunteers, and officers reserve the right to cancel the appearance in whole or in part at our discretion without notice. We may, in our discretion, change the Terms and Conditions and all elements of them and any aspect of them without notice to you.

Liability Waiver: I understand that the by requesting an appearance I RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE, AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE DroidBuilders, it's members, participants, volunteers, and officers for any claims of loss or damage of property or personal or bodily injury during my event. I agree to assume all responsibility and liability for any damage to any property (and the loss of use there from) or injury to persons attending my event and I hold harmless DroidBuilders, it's members, participants, volunteers, and officers.
