You encounter the words Rock Lobsters and suspect that someone has already done the difficult part of naming a cantina band. Then Athens supplies the context: hockey, Star Wars Night, and an evening at Akins Ford Arena. The imaginary band can wait. You have a real December event to consider, and its name has already improved the atmosphere of your calendar considerably. A little eccentricity is welcome among the appointments that otherwise demand such serious attention.

Athens Rock Lobsters Star Wars Night takes place at Akins Ford Arena in Athens on December 6, 2026. The listed event time is 7:00pm to approximately 9:00pm. There is no need to invent an elaborate reason for being interested. Perhaps you enjoy hockey. Perhaps you have spent an unreasonable amount of time discussing a galaxy far, far away. Perhaps the words Rock Lobsters were enough to make you stop and read. Any of these is a perfectly good beginning to an evening’s plan.
